and all that jazz

Come on babe, why don't we paint the town
(Dallas, Wednesday, 6:30pm, Wiedamark staff)
And all that jazz
(Met after work to see the musical, 'Chicago')

I'm gonna rouge my knees
And roll my stockings down
(...Well, not quite, but we did all dress a bit nicer that day to work.)

And all that jazz

Start the car
(We took a limo, driven by a nice guy named Don.)
I know a whoopee spot
(...Uh, Dallas Music Hall at Fair Park, I guess.)
Where the gin is cold
(No gin, but champagne and a Bryan special*)

But the piano's hot
(System in the limo, orchestra on the stage.)

It's just a noisy hall
(...Music Hall)

Where there's a nightly brawl
(I don't know about you, but a musical on a Wednesday night
with families and "seasoned" citizens? That's hot...)
And all
That
Jazz
(Fosse, Jazz Hands, Good times...thanks to Mark and Dante.)

Lyrics courtesy of Chicago musical, song All That Jazz.

Bryan Special: Don't know if it's his original, but we'll credit it to him anyway for simplicity's sake...(and for more street cred, especially when an anonymous WDM dailies reader suggested calling him Cupcake from now on.)

Mix Absolut peach vodka and REGULAR coca-cola. Stir and enjoy.

Doesn't sound too appealing, but it's actually a pretty good concoction. And Cupcake's never met a person who tried the drink and hated it...

Can't believe we're posting drink recipes on the company blog. Only at Wiedamark...
